Our EDGE Summer Camps are an academic-based, engaging learning opportunity for youth to participate in during the summer months. Your camper will be expected to participate for the duration of camp. EDGE Summer Camp will focus on a variety of activities including but not limited to STEAM, Fitness, Arts and Crafts, and Social Emotional Learning
Boneroo Summer Camp: Youth entering 1st through 5th grade (2025-2026 School Year)
Kinetic Summer Camp: Youth entering 6th through 9th grade (2025-2026 School Year)
Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Step 1: Complete the Registration Form below (one per child)
Step 2: A representative from JBNC will contact you to assess your application
Step 3: After an assessment has been made and a space offered, a seat deposit is due for each camper
During the assessment referenced in Step 2 above, a JBNC staff member will use the information provided in Step 1 to determine your fees and eligibility for financial assistance.
We ask all families to pay a $25 non-refundable deposit (which rebates from your camp fee) to hold each child’s place in the program. In our efforts to ensure that Summer Camp is affordable to all families, there are three ways in which a family can pay for EDGE Summer Camp:
Assisted Full Pay
EDGE Summer Camp has developed a scale which we work to make equitable for the diversity of families we serve. The most that a family will pay per camper is $450 for the full summer. This reflects $430 assistance through JBNC fundraising (actual full cost: $870)
CCDF Supported
A family would apply for reimbursement through the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) and choose John Boner Neighborhood Centers (JBNC) as your provider. Please let your JBNC staff registration member know if you are interested in utilizing this option.
Campership Supported
In this case, family would be assessed camp fee based on the scale above and then awarded a campership based on need. A separate application for campership is required. Please let your JBNC staff registration member know if you would need this additional assistance to make camp possible for your child.
Without the assistance described above, the total weekly cost of camp is $145; we work with all families to make sure camp is affordable.
